Akiba has a rolling admissions policy. All applications are considered in order of receipt.

	Call or write the Admissions Office requesting information
	Call the Admissions Office to schedule a time to visit the school
	Return the completed application signed by both parents together with the application fee of $200.00
	Return teacher evaluations and transcript release forms from current school
	Submit birth certificate
	Records from prior school must accompany application (unless this is the child’s first school experience)
	Applicants starting from the level of Kindergarten are required to make a full-day school visit at the time of application
	Schedule an interview with the Admissions Director
	Prior to the interview the “Writing Sample” form should be completed and submitted by the applicant in his/her own handwriting
	If needed, a date for testing will be scheduled
	Upon receipt of all necessary documentation and interviews, the applicant will be considered by the Admissions Committee. After assessing all the relevant data, a decision will be made regarding acceptance into Akiba

Akiba reserves the right to accept or reject the admission of any student or to place a student in the grade level or subjects most appropriate to his or her experience.
